At our location in Wipkingen, you have the opportunity to receive initial information spontaneously . You will receive information material as well as information on all questions relating to old age.
If you have any questions about your current situation, to arrange home visits or to register for a stay in a health centre for the elderly, please make an appointment in advance. For these consultations, employees of the Zurich Office for the Elderly take enough time to assess your individual situation and work out a solution together. T 044 412 11 22

The Zurich for the Elderly Office provides information and advice on all questions relating to old age. Be it housing, support at home, health, activity & commitment or administration, finances and law: Get to know the numerous offers for older people in Zurich and choose the right one for you. We will be happy to support you in this.
Get advice by phone or make a personal appointment at one of our locations. The consultations are confidential and free of charge.
Would
you like to stay self-determined in your home for as long as possible and do something for your health? A nurse with experience in health promotion will be happy to advise you on the phone or at your home. Together we will discuss your current situation and show you ways in which you can shape your personal life situation based on your possibilities. We work together with other specialist agencies if necessary.

Who is the offer aimed at?
The offer is aimed at all residents of the city of Zurich aged 65 and over who have questions about their well-being, be it health-related, social or financial, and would like advice and support.
Registration for municipal housing offers
The Zurich for the Elderly is the official registration office for the city's health centres.
- The health centres for the elderly – created from the merger of the former retirement centres and care centres – are open to all residents of the city of Zurich, regardless of their financial situation.
We
give you useful tips, create an application dossier for you, help you find accommodation online and have information sheets and lists of accommodation providers. We do not broker apartments.
This service is aimed at AHV pensioners in the City of Zurich.
The city's website "Zurich for the elderly" offers an overview of the services available to older people in the city of Zurich. The Internet platform is particularly helpful in the search for age-friendly housing, as it opens up the urban, private and non-profit housing offers of retirement and nursing homes as well as retirement apartments in the city of Zurich. A digital housing consultant also shows which factors are important when choosing a form of housing.
